Prepare the computer
- Install an echelon adapter in one of the dino computers (peferably the dino server), drivers can be found ftp://ftp.etcworld.be/drivers/echelon.
Once the driver is installed, modify the properties of the echelon adapter, go to advanced and set the lon adapter to LON1
- open the file c:\dinoboot.etc with an editor (notepad) and set the parameter [lon]
eg:
[LOCAL]
PARAMS=[LON]
- Run the Dino application goto INIT/SETUP/ETC, Mark the N32 check box
If you look in the upper right corner , you should see running in green. This means that the echelon adapter is well configured and recognized by Dino
error -1 : adapter is not recognized by windows (cut power of pc and turn back on) or reinstall the CORRECT drivers
nothing : parameter [lon] in de c:\dinoboot.etc file is not recognized.
