Input Node or 24-4 Node
Switches & led’s :
On the frontpanel you’ll find :
- A push-button switch : SERVICE-switch. This transmits the ID-number of the node.
- A yellow led : SERVICE-led. Lights up when you push the service-switch. When this led flashes or is lit continuously, a severe software problem occurred in the node. ( call us )
- A red led : TRANSMIT-led
- A second red led : RECEIVE-led
The 4-way connector
Not used
The 6-way connector
| pin 1 | | +12V (input) |
| pin 2 | | GND |
| pin 3 | | NC |
| pin 4 | | Network A |
| pin 5 | | Earth ( shielding ) |
| pin 6 | | Network B |
The 12V can be obtained from nodes with these outputs, such as pneumatic beer valve controller or post-mix controller, or from a separate supply.
The 36-way connector.
| pin 1,10,19 | | input 1.1/1.2/1.3 |
| pin 2,11,20 | | input 2.1/2.2/2.3 |
| pin 3,12,21 | | input 3.1/3.2/3.3 |
| pin 4,13,22 | | input 4.1/4.2/4.3 |
| pin 5,14,23 | | input 5.1/5.2/5.3 |
| pin 6,15,24 | | input 6.1/6.2/6.3 |
| pin 7,16,25 | | input 7.1/7.2/7.3 |
| pin 8,17,26 | | input 8.1/8.2/8.3 |
| pin 9, 18 | | +12Vdc common for input switches |
| pin 27, 36 | | GND |
| pin 28-29 | | NO contact 1 |
| pin 30-31 | | NO contact 2 |
| pin 32-33 | | NO contact 3 / NC contact when flags = 2 |
| pin 34-35 | | NO contact 4 / NC contact when flags = 2 |
Contact 1 to 4 are closed simultaneously when a valid card is in the reader. These contact are electrical independent so they can enable maximum 4 different machines.
Software
Flags:
- 1: All inputs work inverted.
- 2: Output 3 and 4 work inverted (NC).
- 3: Combination of flag 1 and 2.
- 4: Engolit non-drip (max 8 connections):
- Line 1-4-7-10-13-16-19 and 22 are the inputs
- Line 2-5-8-11-14-17-20 and 23 detects that the Engolit non-drip is present.
- Line 3-6-9-12-15-18-21 and 24 detects that the Engolit non-drip is removed.
- 5: Inverted Engolit non-drip.
- 6: Debit-Credit: output becomes active (for 500ms) after receiving a pulse on the input.
- 7: Inverted Debit-Credit: same like flag 6, but the inputs and output 3 and 4 are inverted.
- 8: Tourniquet: output stays 1s active after recognition of a valid card in the reader.
- 9: Binary: the 24-in reads the 5 first inputs as binary and makes from this combination a product number. ex: input 1, 2 and 5 are active: this gives the binary number: '10011' and resembles product 19. If the number outruns the 24 the input is rejected.
- 10: Inverted Binary: same like flag 9, but the inputs and output 3 and 4 are inverted.
- 11: Debit-Credit Binary: combination of flag 6 and 9.
- 12: Inverted Debit-Credit Binary: combination of flag 7 and 10.
- 13: Freeflow count: 24-in will count the time an input is active. There will only bee a tap action when the flow counter exceeds the calibration value. The rest of the flow counter will be buffered.
- Not set: Normal functioning of the 24-in

WARNING:
- In 24-in nodes with software version 1.9 or higher there is a support for Credit cards in Debit-Credit mode (Make sure you use Dino version 22.93 or higher)
- Flags 9 to 12 are only possible in 24-in nodes with software version 2.0 or higher.
- Flag 13 is only supported in 24-in nodes with software version 2.1 or higher. (Make sure you use Dino version 28.30 or higher)
Setting Credit mode in Dino:
- If you don't want the costumer to go below zero on his account, uncheck the 'N32Vip' in the Dino settings!
- Give the product a price.
